JOB SUMMARY:

Under supervision of the Director of Facility Maintenance; the Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of semi-skilled construction, maintenance, modification and repair activities across all MGI, MGII and GECM operations. The incumbent will perform general maintenance work to include sheet rock installation and repair, painting, plumbing, electrical and carpentry work. Additional responsibilities include repair of machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.

IRS JANITOR TEAM LEAD

Description:

Under the leadership of the Senior Director of Sr. Director of Commercial Contracts, the Janitor Supervisor will be responsible for the on-site supervision and administration of Memphis Goodwill personnel assigned to the specified Janitorial Contract. The Janitorial Supervisor will assist in the hiring, time management, training and evaluation of Goodwill Janitorial personnel to ensure compliance with all contract requirements. The Janitorial Supervisor will ensure compliance with OSHA Federal Guidelines and required MSDS training. The Janitorial Supervisor must be knowledgeable of cleaning products and appropriate cleaning procedures. The Janitorial Supervisor will perform administrative duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Commercial Contracts. The Janitorial Supervisor will evaluate various custodial cleaning methods as they relate to offices, cafeteria, training areas, classrooms, and all restrooms–including carpet, hard floors, furnishings and walls; and identify areas where quality training is needed. The Janitorial Supervisor must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Janitorial Supervisor must be able to effectively relate to individuals with various barriers to employment, cultural backgrounds and disabilities. Successful candidate must have at least 3 years of supervisory/management experience in janitorial, custodial, housekeeping or related field. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate exemplary on-site supervisory and leadership capabilities. Other duties will be assigned by the Senior Director.

Under the team leadership and direction of the Vice President of Donated Goods, The Team Leader Coach (Store Manager) will perform the following job duties.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates team members within the framework of Goodwill policies and procedures and job descriptions.
2. Manages annual Goodwill GGC store budget, operating the GGC within budgeted expense to revenue ratios.
3. Insures high standards of donor and customer relations.
4. Insures the proper handling and processing of incoming donation flow in and out of the GGC in accordance with company policies and procedures.
5. Prepares or approves the scheduling of labor and preparation of time cards.
6. Reviews and approves time cards.
7. Insures coordination and communication of transportation and maintenance needs.
8. Insures cleanliness and image GGC.
9. Insures that supplies are ordered and maintained in a secured manner in accordance with established budget and company practices.
10. Insures GGC security according to company policies and procedures.
