Good Partner Coach

Location: Corporate

Description:

Under the leadership of the Director of Mission Services, the Good Partner Coach, is responsible for providing individuals and families comprehensive, “single point of contact” case management as part of a seamless service delivery design including personal and career counseling, life and work coaching, linkage to and advocacy with organizational and community resources. The Good Partner Coach will ensure that individuals and families receive those services from Goodwill, and/or strategic partners, and other community resources. The objectives of the services are to enable MGI employees to become as self-sufficient as possible. Other duties maybe assigned by the Director of Mission Services and consistent with the MGI’s Core Values. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work preferred or (5) years of experience in case management or related field; experience preferably within a community based setting performing community organization, community resource coordination, resource brokering, career and personal counseling.  Motivated with the desire to help individuals with disabilities.

Case Manager

Description:

Under the leadership of the Senior Director of Contracts; the Case Manager will be responsible for employment coaching and advocating for persons with disabilities. The Case Manager will work closely with Project Managers and Supervisors to identify candidates to work on the government contracts, with a special emphasis on hiring candidates that are disabled. The Case Manager will evaluate, develop and implement individual support plans and goals to assist with meeting the needs of persons with disabilities and other barriers to employment. The Case Manager will be responsible for monitoring employee performance and maintaining required documentation mandated by the government. The Case Manager will ensure that persons with disabilities are given an equal opportunity to succeed by assisting with reasonable accommodations and plans to help support employment. Other duties may be assigned by the Senior Director of Contracts.  Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work; or related field.  Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in evaluating individuals with severe disabilities, including making evaluative decisions regarding placements and the provisions of substantial accommodations.  Ability to communicate effectively person to person and in groups.  Ability to work independently and as a member of a team within the context of team-based organization.  Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently as needed.  Ability to obtain and retain an IRS and Federal Security Clearance.

Under the leadership of the School Director, the Registrar is responsible for all student academic record keeping for The Excel Center. This includes compiling, maintaining, and tracking student academic information and records for internal and external analysis and/or use. Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Government Contracts, the VAMC Project Manager will be responsible for the on-site supervision, training and administration of Memphis Goodwill personnel assigned to the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center. The VAMC Project Manager will adhere to contract specifications regarding the hiring, training, time management, supervision, and evaluation of Telephone Operators. Description:

The Cashier will provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers at the register and on the sales floor. Properly operate the cash register in accordance with the cash management policy and procedures. Keep register cash wrap neat, clean and organized. The successful candidate must have a minimum of (1) year of experience as a cashier; a High School Diploma or GED preferred. The Cashier must have the ability to stand and/or walk for an extended periods of time; able to bend, lift, reach, pull and/or push. Description:

Under the leadership of the Operations Manager, Floor Technician will be responsible for the overall floor maintenance of various floor surfaces and carpets. The Floor Technician will perform stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction and bonneting of areas to include: offices, classrooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, conference rooms, and other public areas such as cafeterias and restrooms. The Floor Technician must be knowledgeable of proper floor cleaning techniques; on various floor surfaces. Additional duties may be assigned by the Operations Manager. Description:

Responsible for cleaning the public and office areas of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) building. The IRS Janitor will provide a clean, safe and attractive environment for Internal Revenue personnel and visitors. Minimum of (1) year of experience in janitorial, custodial, housekeeping or related field; and a High School Diploma or GED preferred Must have the ability to effectively relate to individuals with various disabilities, personalities and cultural backgrounds. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 60 lbs. Ability to bend, reach, pull and/or push.
