Good Partner Coach Success Story
Donations help Goodwill to employ people who often have barriers to employment. Good Partner Coaches are a vital part of Goodwill’s mission services as they are on the front lines helping employees face and overcome obstacles prohibiting them from personal and professional success. Barriers can range from a team member wanting to complete his/her education to needing help paying a utility bill. Good Partner Coaches are in place to lend an ear, a hand up, and to point team members in the right direction. Coaches use GoodTrak, a case management system, to monitor referrals and an employee’s progress. It’s just one of the many ways that donations and Change Round Up helps our employees and the community.
Sometimes, Good Partner Coaches, assist team members in obtaining new skills to help them create a better future for themselves . . . even if it’s not with Goodwill. Meet, Alix Bailey, one of four Good Partner Coaches that works with employees across Memphis and north Mississippi. Alix, recently helped a Goodwill team member obtain his CDL license which gave him the opportunity to make a better life for himself and his family.
Mr. McKinnie, wasn’t available for an on-camera interview. However, we did speak with him about his Good Partner Coach experience over the phone.
Goodwill’s Good Partner Coach services offer employees a valuable asset in the workplace. Good Partner Coaches are just another way Goodwill is changing lives.
