Memphis Goodwill SPIRIT Award Winners!

February 22, 2016 |

The Memphis Goodwill SPIRIT Award is given to a Goodwill employee who exhibits perseverance over obstacles, dedication to work, excellence in serving our customers, and a “can do” attitude in working with his/her Goodwill team.

Recognition is an important factor in motivating employees for doing a job well done, over and above what is expected. The 2016 SPIRIT awardees were honored during the February 17th Memphis Tigers halftime show at the FedEx Forum. We’re proud to congratulate LaToya Cole (Oxford GGC) & Janet Brown (Horn Lake Bookstore) as our 2016 SPIRIT award winners!

A special thanks to Delores Brown (TLC) who nominated LaToya Cole, Hanger, for “going above and beyond expectations on a consistent and regular basis. LaToya is a role model…and paves the way for others to follow.” LaToya has been with Goodwill for 6 ½ years.

Also, a special thanks to Jessica Chenault (TLC) who nominated Janet Brown, Donor Greeter, for “her passion for our store and our customers. Janet leaves shoppers and donors with a smile.”
